Ekadzati/The Natural Humming Of The Dakinis Within Mount Sumeru/Milam Records/2012 EP Review

Ekadzati  are  a  1  man  band  from  Portland,  Oregon  that  plays  a  mixture  of  occult  black  metal,  ritual  and  noise  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2012  ep  "The  Natural  Humming  Of  The  Dakinis  Within  Mount  Sumeru"  which  was  released  by  Milam  Records.

Noise  effects  bring  in  the  ritualistic  and  harsh  power  electronic  sounds  to  the  music,  while  the  rhythm  guitars  are  very  dark,  raw  and  primitive  sounding  occult  black  metal  riffs  and  there  are  no  guitar  solos  or  leads  present  on  this  recording.

Vocals  are  mostly  high pitched  black  metal/harsh  noise  screams  mixed  in  with  some  deep  demonic ritualistic  growls,  while  the  lyrics  cover  Left  Hand  Path  Tantric  Buddhist  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  dark,  harsh,  raw  and  primitive  sound  with  the  only  song  being  very  long  and  epic  in  length.

In  my  opinion  Ekadzati  are  a  very  great  sounding  hybrid  of  occult  black  metal,  ritual  and  harsh  noise  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  band.  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
