Njiqahdda/Nji, Njiijn. Njiiin./Pagan Flames Productions/2008 Full Length Review

This  is  a  review  of  another  recording  from  Njiqahdda  with  the  music  being  an  atmospheric  form  of  black  metal  with  the  album  being  released  in  2008  by  Pagan  Flames  Productions  and  called  "Nji,  Njiin.  Njiiin.

Drums  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  playing  with  no  fast  drumming  or  blast  beats  being  present  on  this  recording,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a  very  strong  and  powerful  sound  with  heavy  riffing  that  dominates  throughout  the  recording,  as  for  the  keyboards  and  sound  effects  when they  are  utilized  bring  elements  of  noise  and  experimental  to  the  album.

Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow  to  mid  paced  black  metal  riffs  that  utilize  some raw  and  primitive  sounding  elements  as  well  as  a  good  amount  of  melody,  post  rock  influences  and  some  soft  and  clean  playing  inn  addition  there  is  some  heavy  sounding  distortion  being  utilized  at  times   and  there  are  no  guitar  solos  or  leads  present  on  this  recording.

Vocals  are  all  distorted  sounding  grim  black  metal s creams,  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  a  foreign  language  and  cover  Nature,  Meditation  and  Transcendental  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  heavy,  raw  and  primitive  sound  while  you  can  still  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  this  recording  with  the  songs  being  very  long  and  epic  in  length.

In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  recording  from  Njiqahdda  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  atmospheric,  post  black  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  album.RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Nortii  Maatu"  and  "Urmae  Copistrum  Xaaqa  Qahdda".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
